Trump Says To End War Timely; Iran Vows Resistance Until Last Moment

US President Donald Trump stated that he will make the final decision to end military actions against Iran at the appropriate time.

In a phone interview with The Times of Israel, he mentioned that the decision on when to end the war will be made jointly with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump noted that both parties have been in communication and will consider all factors to make a timely decision.

Separately, the Iranian Assembly of Experts had earlier elected Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, as the new Supreme Leader.

The armed forces will be stronger and more resolute than ever before under Mojtaba's leadership, resolutely resisting enemies for the interests and security of the country until the very last moment, local news agency said.
