The HSI picked up less than 1 point to close at 26,545. The HSCEI gained 15 points or 0.17% to finish at 9,472. The HSTECH lifted 23 points or 0.4% to close at 6,294. Total market turnover for the day amounted to $376.812 billion.

JD-SW (09618.HK) mounted 3.4% after Germany's antitrust watchdog approved its acquisition of Ceconomy. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) dropped 0.7% after its Kling AI launched new digital human feature.

For other techs, BABA-W (09988.HK), TENCENT (00700.HK), MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) added 0.1-0.8%, while XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) ebbed 0.3%. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) and NTES-S (09999.HK) waned 1% and 1.5%. Chip stocks continued to incline, with SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) elevating 0.4% and 4.1%.

In addition, WEIMOB INC (02013.HK) and SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) surged 10% and 4.6%, while EAST BUY (01797.HK) and TME-SW (01698.HK) eroded 3.9% and 4%. MEITU (01357.HK) stumbled 3% as its founder and major shareholder Mike Cai offloaded 3.5 million shares for a cash of more than $33.48 million. YOFC (06869.HK) shot up 8.5%, with a turnover of $3.67 billion.

Casinos ascended, with MELCO INT'L DEV (00200.HK), WYNN MACAU (01128.HK) and SANDS CHINA LTD (01928.HK) swelling 6-6.6%. GALAXY ENT (00027.HK) and MGM CHINA (02282.HK) advanced 4.2% and 5%.
