S&P Global announced a strategic partnership with BABA-W (09988.HK)(BABA.US)'s Alibaba Cloud to introduce S&P Global's AI ready commodities data into China for the first time. Starting from 31 August, Chinese customers can access datasets covering energy, metals, chemicals and agriculture more directly through Alibaba Cloud's object storage service. By implementing the localization of AI ready data on Alibaba Cloud OSS, S&P Global can effectively address the data challenges faced by Chinese customers over the years, according to the introduction. Customers can now securely and conveniently access structured, high-quality datasets and use them immediately without complex data preprocessing or customized integration.
