Ele.me: Biz Scale of Chain Brands in East CN Mkt Grows 2x After Launching Taobao Instant Commerce in May

Lin Fanxu, General Manager of the East China Region at KA, the brand center of BABA-W (09988.HK)'s Ele.me, revealed at an event that, since the full launch of Taobao Instant Commerce in May, the overall business scale of chain brands in the East China market increased by 200%, according to Chinese media.

The actual amount received of stores doubled, while the number of monthly '10,000-order stores' surged by 37x YoY. Utilizing refined operational strategies and other tools, the platform brought a 160% incline in new customer scale and an 80% increase in orders from existing customers.
