POP MART (09992.HK) launched its new mini Labubu blind box series “The Monsters” on Thursday night (28th) at 10 PM for online sale, Chinese media reported. However, within 60 seconds, all stock on platforms like JD.com and Taobao was sold out. On secondary platforms, one hidden edition was sold for RMB1,188, which was 14 times higher than the original blind box price. The official pricing showed that a single blind box is priced at RMB79, and a set of 14 is priced at RMB1,106. However, secondary market platforms indicated that a set price surged to RMB2,450, a 1.22 times spike.
