Following Israel's airstrike on Iran, Bitcoin prices sank by 3.3% this morning (13th, Hong Kong time) compared to 24 hours ago, last trading at around USD104,300, while Ethereum also tumbled 9%, according to data from Coindesk.

Caroline Mauron, co-founder of trading firm Orbit Markets, noted that cryptocurrencies' negative reaction after Israel's attack on Iran was in line with other major risk assets. She estimated technical support for Bitcoin around the USD101,000 level, though geopolitics would weigh on prices in the short term.

Hong Kong-listed Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were trending downward. CAM BTC (03042.HK), HGI BTC (03439.HK), and BOS HSK BTC (03008.HK) last dipped by 2.9-3%. CAM ETH (03046.HK), HGI ETH (03179.HK), and BOS HSK ETH (03009.HK) also cratered by 8.5-8.9%.
