MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) announced that its Keeta Drone has been selected as part of the first batch of pilot projects under the HKSAR Government’s Low-altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox program.

At the project’s launch ceremony, Chief Executive John Lee issued the takeoff command, and Keeta Drone completed Hong Kong’s first low-altitude real-time logistics mission.

At this juncture, Keeta Drone has established a drone company in Hong Kong and has largely completed preparations for its first route, awaiting final approval and a confirmed launch date. It is expected to commence operations soon.

The company plans to set up an R&D center and collaborate with Hong Kong academic institutions on joint research and technological breakthroughs in the low-altitude economy sector.

Down the road, Keeta Drone will continue recruiting business and technical talent in Hong Kong based on its development needs, aiming to advance local low-altitude economy technology and industry growth.
