SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK) issued a profit alert expecting 2024 net profit to grow 1.4-1.5x YoY. UOB Kay Hian published a research report saying that the mid-point of the profit alert is 13.5%/ 10.3% higher than the expectations of UOB Kay Hian/ the market each. The broker believed that the growth is mainly driven by better-than-expected ASP and margins for the handset business.
