Report: EU Warns BYD, Others of Higher Tariffs for Failing to Provide Information on Anti-subsidy Investigation

The European Commission warned three Chinese EV makers, naming BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) (002594.SZ), SAIC MOTOR(600104.SH) and GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), that they did not provide enough information for its anti-subsidy investigation, Reuters quoted two insiders as saying. If the European Commission considered that the information provided by the three automakers was insufficient, it might use other evidence to calculate or raise the tariffs, the insider said.
